Cheating in School

Cheating is a bad habit that is very common in schools even though it has serious consequences. One example is my classmate Tony, who is a student at a top in our college.  He saw his reputation damages when finally it was discovered that he cheats regularly. Some of reasons that motivate student to cheat are: skipping class, lack of study, but expulsion from school can be the negative effect that results from it. The causes of cheating in school are a lot, but skipping class is a primary reason that can push student to cheat. Other way that excites student to cheat is when he did not study. To avoid cheating, student has to practice and review the last lesson he has studied. However, cheating has atrocious effects on the cheater. The consequences that result from cheating in school are several and awful. A number of effects are: bad academic record, difficulty with future job, and the more serious is expulsion from school. One example, in Africa and particularly in Benin when student cheat in national exam, he is expulsed from school for two or five years.

Comparison between High School and College

Education is very important in people life, so there are many ways to be educated like high school, college and many others. There are many differences between high school and college level, teaching styles, class schedule, and clothing. Firstly, teaching style in high school has to do with the teacher writing note on the board for the students to copy directly into their notebooks, while in college, professors can lecture the students non-stop, using dictation type and sometimes make them to do the research work by themselves. Secondly, in high school your time is structured by others. For example, class schedule is prepared for the whole school by the principal. In contrast, college students are more independent with class schedule because he can manage his own class time depend of his availability to study. Finally, clothing makes a big difference between high school and college student. The high school student doesn’t have choice about his clothing because he has to wear the school uniform. However, college student can wear any type of cloth to school but will look decent in appearance.

http://www.ucg.org/vertical-thought/five-qualities-of-successful-students

Qualities of a Successful Student
Success is a positive outcome that people look for all times, but it results from what we do and not who we are. Each person should have the chance to success in their activity; for that, they need to follow some rules, but each activity has its own. One example is a student who wants to become successful in school; to be specific, he needs to develop some qualities principally before, during, and after class to reach his goal.
First, student needs to be prepared for class. For example, a successful student will prepare to his class at home before going to school. Second, he has to finish all homework given by the teachers. By doing this, he will be able to get the most out of his class time.
During the class, punctuality and attention to class are important qualities that a top student needs. The student must be present in class 5 minutes before the course begins. In addition, he needs to follow the teacher carefully with attention and take notes to avoid missing details and incomprehension. A fruitful student develops other qualities after the classes, too.
Last, fruitful student completes some tasks after class. The same day after a few minutes of rest, he has to review all things he had been doing in class in the day to refresh his memory. Secondly, he must do all the homework that seems easy for him because it helps him to better assimilate the lessons he had studied. Thirdly, he must do other research on the subject that had been discussed in class. Moreover, it is essential to be a lifelong learner in order to become a successful student.

Child Discipline

Discipline is how children learn right from wrong, acceptable from unacceptable. Providing appropriate discipline to children is one of the most essential responsibilities of a parent. However, child discipline differs from each culture. In general, the children discipline begins with the parents at home, but sometimes people other than parents can discipline a child. For example, generally in Africa and particularly in Benin when a child misbehaves outside the home, an old person is able to punish him even though it is not his relative. As a result, this way of discipline allows the child to respect all people, not only his parents. That is what I can call social discipline. In contrast, Americans are unable to discipline their children because they have no authority over them. Mothers and fathers acquired a hands-off about their children, and anyone can’t discipline child of other. Else, he or she will be summoned in front of the court. One example is this video: https://www.facebook.com/aissatou.cisse.9212/videos/424068810548/. Social discipline is a good thing that any country can allow because providing consistent and positive discipline helps children grow into responsible adults.

Electronics engineering technology

 Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology (EET)
is an engineering technology field that implements and applies the principles of electrical engineering. Like electrical engineering, EET deals with the "design, application, installation, manufacturing, operation and/or maintenance of electrical/electronic(s) systems." However, EET is a specialized discipline that has more focus on application, theory, and applied design, and implementation, while electrical engineering may focus more of an generalized emphasis on theory and conceptual design. Electrical/Electronic engineering technology is the largest branch of engineering technology and includes a diverse range of sub-disciplines, such as applied design, electronicsembedded systemscontrol systemsinstrumentationtelecommunications, and power systems.

Introduction

Hi, my name is Maurice. I'm from a small country called Benin, which located in the Sub-Saharan region of west Africa. Its borders are Togo to the west, Nigeria to the east, Burkina Faso and Niger to the north. I graduated from vocational school in Electronic there. I came to United States where I live in Maryland since two years ago. I speak French fluently, a little English, and three dialects of my country. I like listening music and cooking. I'm fiercely passionate by new technology. My plan is to have master's degree in Electronic Engineering.
