Child Discipline
Discipline
is how children learn right from wrong, acceptable from unacceptable. Providing
appropriate discipline to children is one of the most essential
responsibilities of a parent. However, child discipline differs from each
culture. In general, the children discipline begins with the parents at home,
but sometimes people other than parents can discipline a child. For example,
generally in Africa and particularly in Benin when a child misbehaves outside
the home, an old person is able to punish him even though it is not his
relative. As a result, this way of discipline allows the child to respect all
people, not only his parents. That is what I can call social discipline. In
contrast, Americans are unable to discipline their children because they have
no authority over them. Mothers and fathers acquired a hands-off about their
children, and anyone can’t discipline child of other. Else, he or she will be
summoned in front of the court. One example is this video: https://www.facebook.com/aissatou.cisse.9212/videos/424068810548/.
Social discipline is a good thing that any country can allow because providing
consistent and positive discipline helps children grow into responsible adults.
Yea,it is good for parents to discipline their children, and it is also good for parents to train their children,so as not to depart from them, and meditate on it day and night.

ReplyDeleteAfrican punishment is not always the best solution to discipline a child. Africans parents should learn how to communicate first with their children. Sometimes, they forgot that children also need to make a choice or that they simply sometimes deserve respect too.
